It's A Wrap For "Samael Angel"...

Like promised I'm keeping you as up to date as possible on the progress of "Samael Angel".

So on Friday, March 20th the last song of the incipient chapter of the trilogy (The Pilgrimage Of Samael Angel) was recorded and therefore it's a wrap for this chapter.

Now I'm in the mastering process of the album which is the application of different kind of equalizations that will give a "soul" to the album. Up until now I've been posting the unmastered track but as soon as they're ready I'll share the mastered versions with you before the official release date which will be on June 25th 2009.

This is the end of a chapter in my life and every time I'm at the end of a journey I always feel a little sad. However this time I'm glad because this end is also a beginning.

I sincerely do hope you'll like the story even if it's completely and utterly sick, dark, twisted and demented. Nevertheless the second chapter which is about redemption will be more uplifting ergo please don't quit on me until the end of the trilogy because you'll then have all the pieces of this beautiful puzzle !!

I've already started to work on the second chapter (Samael's Sentience) and on the third as well (The Credence Of Samael). I will then be on schedule in order to release one chapter every year at the same date : June 25th 2010 & 2011.

I'm also working on the other concept albums I'll do after The Pilgrimage Of Samael Angel. I could already tell you that I'll only do 7 concept albums (and that is counting The Pilgrimage as one and not three albums) in my lifetime because I don't think God will grant me more time to do more.

I already know the concepts, titles & scripts of every single one of those albums which of course will be filled with stories since I'm a storyteller. However every concept album will have a different approach which will prevent me from repeating the things I've already done with The Pilgrimage.

All of them will be peculiar and won't have anything to do with previous or the next one. I won't be releasing them every year though, like I'm about to do with The Pilgrimage but they'll be released on June 25th every time I decide to release one.

So regardless of the year, all my albums will be released on my birthday which is kind of my gift to you even though it's supposed to be the other way around.

When the time is upon us I'll be giving you more details on the latter.
