K'naan

Hey y'all

The cradle of humanity gave us some tough love over the years : wars, leaders bleeding us dry, starvation and so much more deaths. However every once in a while we get to have a light of hope in different areas. Today I'm proud to present to you a beam of that hope : K'naan.
He was born and raised in the city of Mogadicio (Somalia) and now is living in Canada. I've heard of him 3 years ago when I watched, back on the oldest continent, a video clip of his song Soobax.

With African artist like him you're proud to say that you're from the same place (I consider Africa more like a country than a continent). He already released a brilliant album entitled The Dusty Foot Philosopher and now he's about to grace us with another one on January 2009 : Troubadour.
