Theory On Main Religions

When I was 11 years old I've asked my mom this question : "Why do people kill each other over baby Jesus ?" She answered me : "Because they don't know any better".

Since that time, religion has been one of my favorite topic of discussion. I was born and raised as a catholic. I went through all the steps and received my confirmation at 14 years old. The year after that, I told my mom that I won't go to church anymore. I still prey and believe in God, I just stopped believing in the Catholic Church because of the blood they have on their hands (crusades, murders, lies, stupidity causing deaths (e.g : the condoms issue), greed, disgusting fucking pedophiles....)

Religion and knowledge are two things that can't be mixed, and I learned it the hard way. Hence at 15 I've asked my mom to buy me a Qu'ran and a Torah because I was fed up with people telling me that, this is written in this book and so on. I wanted to see it for myself.

Afterward I've developed my theory on those 3 religions :

I think that Islam, Judaism & Christianity are the same religion but divided into 3 parts and here's why.

When you read those holy books (Bible, Torah & Qu'ran), you understand that not only the key players are the same in the 3 books but they have the same backgrounds and stories. For example, the father of those religions (Abraham) is the same. His story, according to Muslims, Jewish and Christians is also the same with minor differences of course.

His sons (Isaac & Ishmael) created (respectively) the Jewish people and the Arabs who'll give birth to the Muslim (however all the Arabs are not Muslim, some of them are Christians, Jews and so on). Even if Isaac & Ishmael didn't get along while their father was alive, at his death they came together in order to bury him.

So nowadays fucking stupid extremists (Christians extremists, Muslims extremists & Jews extremists) who are killing each other over the holy books are committing the worst crime of history : they're slaughtering their own blood.

Now level with me, what if God thought that we were too stupid to handle his words if he told it all at once therefore he divided his words and send it piece after piece so that we understand it thoroughly. If that were to be true, all the people who kill in his name are rotting in hell without the chance of getting out and I'd say : Thank God !!

This could be a great theory and the foundation of a new order : religion unity...

 But who are we kidding, the scholars understood a long time ago that religion is a business and a safe way to seize power and keep people in the dark.

The Vatican is the perfect example of that power, however things are kind of better now than the old age, even if it is still not perfect.

Nevertheless if the gospel according to Thomas were to be accurate and true, the Vatican would crumble at least or cease to exit at worst :

Jesus said : I am the light that is over them all. I am the All; the All has come forth from me, and the All has attained unto me. Split a piece of wood and I am there. Raise up the stone, and ye shall find me there.

And with sects rising everywhere in the world (Scientology, Raëlism and all those con artists disguised as "so-called" pieces of shit they call religions) folks start to think that once again (because the Vatican made people believe in the middle age that it was possible) they could buy their way into heaven or they could at least buy peace of mind.

If someone ask you money to get into heaven or to find spiritual happiness or anything relating to the soul and all, you better know that it's a scam or a sect in the worst case scenario. The fastest way to make money today, is to rent a garage and open your own "religion". It's a sector that doesn't know the definition of the words economic crisis

But if you are looking for guidance and still don't know which of the "main" religion to choose, take a look at Buddhism. They don't dwell on the story part of things and also it is FREE as all the religion should be. It emphasizes on reflection, meditation, peace of mind and all those stuffs.

A Buddhist takes refuge in the 3 jewels : the Buddha (The Awakened One), the Dharma (The Teaching of the Buddha) & the Sangha (The Community of Buddhists). Being wise, reaching the nirvana, renunciation of worldly matters are some of their main goals and I think that if more human were trying to understand those ideals without necessarily converting to Buddhism or anything, they'd be less war, pain and misery in this cold world. I see Buddhism as a way of life and not really a religion and they same thing could be ascertain for Islam, Christianity & Judaism.

So now what do you think of my thoughts on this matter ? I know it could be perceived as stupid and without any foundations, but don't forget that this is all on faith and merely on faith....
